EPOC's Founding

EPOC Construction was founded April 16, 2001.  EPOC finished 2001 with just over $1,000,000 of work completed.  The Company grew its volume approximately 50% each year for the first four years and continues to expand.

In 2008, EPOC completed its 50th construction project; with not one unsatisfied client nor a single man-hour lost to injury.

EPOC's President & Owner

Kenneth R. (Ken) Bingman is owner/operator of the firm.  Ken brings his 20+ years of construction experience to the business.  The key attribute Ken provides EPOC is his construction experience and client interaction.  He has contracted for over 50 million dollars worth of construction projects in the greater Peninsula area since working in the construction industry.  Mr. Bingman's experience covers all aspects of a construction project from the initial meeting with a prospect, design, estimating, contract and field management to final completion.

Origin of EPOC's Name

The acronym EPOC stands for Emergency Planning & Operations Concepts, which has nothing to do with construction.  EPOC was the name of his father in-law's consulting business.  That business was started but never opened due to the death of Ken's father-in-law in a tragic car accident.  The name EPOC stands as a memorial and the acronym "Endless Possibilities Of Construction" was chosen for the construction business.
